- COLLABORATIVE HR TEAM
- SUPPORT THE CORPORATE FUNCTIONS
Partner with business unit leaders to provide contemporary professional support relating to the management of people processes, ensuring fit for purpose systems and procedures are embedded to provide optimal outcomes for the organisation and its employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain effective partnering relationships with leaders to provide advice and guidance on legislative and policy frameworks and systems relating to core human resource activities.
- Support leaders in relation to complex human resource matters, including delivery of employee relations activities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement relating to proactive performance and development conversations across the business.
- Partner with and provide advice to business leaders to deliver cyclical human resource activities (e.g. Workforce Planning and Talent Management).
- Support and challenge the business in organisational design discussions, providing organisational context, contributing to effective and strategic decisions and outcomes which are aligned with agreed organisational design principles.
- Present timely, comprehensive data on current business performance parallel to organisational objectives for people related metrics.
- Support the business in developing current policies and procedures that are aligned to best practice within a human resource setting, supporting the implementation of those changes at an operational level.
- Support the development and implementation of culture initiatives that support the company's values and strategic roadmap.
ABOUT YOU:
- SME knowledge and application in HR Management or relevant discipline
- Providing advice to stakeholders on employment related legislation, policies, and frameworks
- Leveraging HR analytics and metrics to support continuous improvement activities
- Generalist HR knowledge ideally within a mining, utilities, industrial or service industry
- Developing and maintaining trusted, effective partnerships with key stakeholders to support the delivery of organisational objectives
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR Management, Business, or relevant discipline
- 5 + years’ experience in a HR generalist position
- Previous experience relating to employee relations matters
- Previous exposure to organisational development, performance management, succession planning and remuneration processes
- Demonstrated experience utilising high quality interpersonal skills including listening, negotiating, and influencing to achieve organisational objectives
- Demonstrated experience providing advice on human resource related policies and procedures within a compliance-focused environment
