We have a highly focused and rewarding opportunity for an individual experienced in Contractor Management. The position is within our After Sales Service and Installation division. Ideally, you will have a background working in the Plumbing or HVAC industry and a keen eye to drive Business Development initiatives. The position reports to the Manager, After Sales Service & Installation and is based out of our office in Keysborough.
About the role:
- Prospect, evaluate and engage Subcontractors around VIC with the aim of engaging them to become Zone Contractors for the complete range of Rinnai products
- Liaise with Zone Contractors/Subcontractors to rectify potential after sales service and installation issues
- Ensure all compliance standards relating to after sales service and installation are met
- Maintain WHS standards and procedures for all Zone Contractors/Subcontractors and assist in further developing these procedures
- Provide quotations on commercial hot water systems for Programmed Maintenance contracts and additional repair works where required
- Conduct Quality and Safety audits on Zone Contractors/Subcontractors
- Assist in the development and implementation of Business Development initiatives to grow the VIC after Sales Service and Installation function
- Liaise regularly with site supervisors to manage the coordination of installations
About you:
- A background in the Plumbing, HVAC or Contractor Management field
- Previous experience in a Sales and/or Business Development role
- Outstanding customer service skills with a strong focus on follow up
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Strong Commercial and Business acumen
- Effective at building and maintaining relationships
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A high level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills and a high level of customer service. You enjoy forging and developing strong customer relationships. A background in sales and/or Business Development with previous experience in either the plumbing, HVAC or Contractor Management sector is highly desirable. Candidates with direct experience in Work Health & Safety practices will be held in high regard.
