Due to ongoing expansion, Ace Waste is seeking to appoint and welcome a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Executive to the team.

Our clients are prominent within the medical; pharmaceutical; and industrial sectors and our Industrial services offering in the management and disposal of hazardous waste; dangerous goods; and biosecurity waste, provides a broad scope of opportunity for Business Development.
Based on the fringe of the Brisbane CBD you’ll enjoy a pleasant; modern office environment when you’re not outbound and on-the-road. We’ve got secure undercover parking and easy access in all directions out of the city. Our dedicated treatment facility is located at Willawong and our own fleet of company trucks provides the service.
There is never a dull moment in this challenging role since you would be dealing with a wide variety of requirements from clients. With ongoing and evolving training as part of your journey and plenty of team experience to support your success, you won’t be trying to do it on your own.

About you……….Working as part of a small team, your role will be to actively grow the Ace Waste business and service your growing portfolio of clients – the portfolio that you build.
You have very good attention to detail; you’re consistent; self-motivated; positive in outlook; mature in nature; and have a willingness to learn.
You are trainable; malleable; and keen to learn about an industry that is not difficult to understand, but can be a little complex to navigate.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of Ace Waste and our range of services.
- Prepare and present tailored solutions in line with client requirements
- Develop strong business relationships with clients & industry partners.
- New Business Development by approaching new opportunities
- Engaging with clients via phone, email and face to face meetings.
- Accurate administration and documentation of your sales
- Acquire a broad understanding of relevant industry regulations
You must be……….
- An excellent communicator – both written and verbal
- Active; confident; and a go-getter in your approach to sales
- Solution focused, with genuine problem-solving abilities
- Consistent and reliable in your work ethic
- Must be willing to door knock/cold call to expand the business portfolio.
It may also help if you…….
- Have previous experience in the waste management, industrial services or medical – pharmaceuticals sector
- Have some knowledge of hazardous waste and dangerous goods handling.
