Due to expansion, we’re looking for a BDM who will play a pivotal role in the growth of Quandoo for Restaurants’ brand in Australia. Your drive and passion for hunting new business will be what helps you build relationships and acquire restaurants to feature on the Quandoo marketplace.

As a Business Development Manager you are pivotal to the growth of the Quandoo brand. Quandoo's mission is to improve the way hospitality venues connect with diners in the digital world. Through our marketplace and extensive booking network, we are helping businesses build a strong online presence and increase their bookings. We also provide a selection of SaaS solutions to simplify how they manage bookings, turn tables and build better diner experiences.

Job Description

  • Nurture your designated territory to maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
  • Use a combination of cold outreach techniques - phone, email and walkins - to book face-to-face meetings with restaurant owners/decision makers
  • Take a consultative approach in face-to-face meetings to determine the right SaaS solution that best meets their needs
  • Work seamlessly with our Customer Success team to ensure new acquisition signings are handed over in a timely and efficient manner
  • Use our technology stack (Salesforce, DocuSign, Aircall, Slack & Google Workspace) proficiently to become more organised and effective in your role
  • Continuously educate yourself on the competitive landscape and overall hospitality industry, to best determine how to position Quandoo in the market

Qualifications

  • You are a true sales hunter with at least 2 years of experience (preferably to SMB)
  • You are experienced in B2B outbound sales that doesn't shy away from a high volume of daily cold outreach
  • You have a consultative approach to selling and are able to identify the needs and pain points of your prospects
  • You are a self-motivated individual who is accountable for their daily output
  • You are able to work collaboratively with a supportive team both locally and nationally
  • You possess a growth mindset and have a willingness to learn and grow within your role (it’s one of our core values)
  • You are confident using a CRM (Salesforce preferred) to manage your sales pipeline and activities
  • Experience working in or selling to hospitality is a bonus but not essential
