As a Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the sales growth of Emerson Clarkson Knifegate products within the ANZ market.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Sales calls, technical customer presentations, participate in and present at marketing & industry thought leadership events
  • Develop relationships at key End User, EPC, OEM & Contractor accounts to help build ‘Trusted Advisor’ relationships that deliver mutually beneficial value
  • Work across ISV & EMR xBU Project Pursuit teams to position Emerson ISV products for specification on KOB1 & KOB2 pursuits
  • Provide technical assistance and support to Sales Organization and participate in Site Walkdowns as required
  • Assist in Site Walk Downs and Technical Applications at Mining Customers
  • Working between the sales organization, customers, SBU and the broader Emerson community, identify key market trends and opportunities from which to drive profitable growth
  • Develop growth initiatives (Sales, Marketing, Pricing, SIOP), and work across the ISV business (Sales/ Ops / SBU) to gain alignment and the necessary support / investment to ensure initiatives have substance, are executable and can deliver profitable growth
  • Champion KGV initiatives, support and drive execution to ensure success
  • Map & develop technical competency KGV product across the organization 
  • Develop and present technical training material 
  • Provide 1 on 1 development and / or joint calls with sales where required, to ensure development of technical proficiency
  • Provide timely market & competitive intelligence feedback into ISV Sales Leadership, SBU and Operations organizations
  • Assist in the development & support of Emerson, ISV & BFV SBU strategies and initiatives
  • Champion and own new product launch / release for BFV in ANZ
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and SBU leadership to ensure ANZ sales and customer needs are considered within BFV SBU
  • Collaborate with SBU & Operations to define (dynamically) the ideal inventory profile to support customer requirements, drive growth, increase ITO & RDSL yet avoids E&O wastage
  • Actively participate in, and provide leadership for, the ISV Winning Culture program to help shape the culture of our organization by living our core traits ‘Collaboration’ ‘Resilience’ & ‘Driving Results’

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or similar.
  • Sales & technical experience in industrial valve applications, specifically Knifegate Valves & associated Actuation & Controls
  • Strong technical and application knowledge of mineral resource processing plants and Process Industries with understanding of buying cycles and industry drivers
