Working collaboratively with the Managing Director and Operations Management to lead sales and marketing efforts and develop relationships with existing and potential customers within the industry to secure contracts to provide drilling services to them.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Identifies new clients and opportunities for Drilling rig activities.
• Develop and maintain long-lasting and meaningful relationships with clients and other strategic partners.
• Supports regional marketing and sales of the company's services.
• Monitors market conditions, innovations and trends, and competitors' performance, pricing, and sales strategies to maximise NexGen’s competitive stance
• Conducts opportunity and client research to develop and manage effective client engagement strategies and can close new work.
• Arrange and lead company services & capabilities presentations with customers; attend technical seminars and industry events.
• Assists Operations Lead with developing client relationships.
• Maintain client contacts and opportunities on an assigned folder shared appropriately.
• Track goals and produce internal reports, as needed.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
• Lead tender preparation and participate in pricing with the management team.
• Participate in Company strategic development and strategic update Forecast sales targets and ensure every endeavor is undertaken for them to be met.
• Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
• Travel as necessary to perform duties.
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with a minimum of 3 years of Business Development experience
• Successful track record of developing business
