The Role on Offer
As the Business Development Manager - WA, you will be responsible for achieving the sales & gross profit targets, promoting Banlaw products, developing new business & securing projects & ongoing service work.
This role plays a significant part in role modelling the leadership behaviours that create high performing & engaged workplaces & will work alongside others in our WA team to build long-term, trusting relationships with existing and new customers to solve their pain points & challenges.
Some of your time will be spent on the road, networking & building relationships with new & existing customers & working closely with key distributors. It will suit someone who enjoys travel, flexibility and autonomy as a key feature of their role.
Who would ace this role?
- 5+ years' experience in BDM, Sales or similar roles, ideally within the mining, manufacturing or heavy industry sectors
- Proven track record of achieving &/or exceeding sales targets
- Account management & new Business Development capabilities
- Superb written & oral communication skills, confident presenter
- Forward thinking ideas & the desire to progress their career
- A highly trustworthy individual who can work autonomously and as part of a team
- Effective Sales Process
- Previous CRM experience (NetSuite ideal)
- NB: A pre-employment medial & current drivers' license are essential to the inherent requirements of this role
