Business Manager
An exciting opportunity exists to join the St Pius X Catholic School community in the role of Business Manager. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with the Principal, Finance Committee, Leadership Team and CESA Finance Team to manage the financial functions and resource of our school community.
St Pius X is a Reception to Year 6 Catholic School, located in Windsor Gardens in the North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide. We currently have a strong reputation within the community and an enrolment of approximately 560 students. We are committed to ensuring that all of our children and staff have access to a caring and safe environment where high quality learning can occur.
The Business Manager will play an active part in supporting the strategic developments of the school, and in ensuring that the school can continue to maintain high quality human and physical resources.

The Business Manager will:
- Support the Catholic ethos of St Pius X Catholic School.
- Have the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with other members of the staff.
- Be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Have the ability to work calmly, efficiently and politely under pressure.
- Display a high level of emotional intelligence when dealing with staff, children, parents and/or visitors.
- Have high organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and remain multi-task focussed.
- Be able to work both independently and within a team environment and be supportive of others in the immediate work domain.
- Have a strong commitment to detail and the ability to follow up to ensure all matters are resolved or dealt with appropriately.
- Display highly effective written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to liaise with a range of personnel, students, families and the wider community.
- Be flexible with time management.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will have:
- Appropriate qualifications in either Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce or other relevant disciplines. A Tertiary qualification is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to successfully communicate and liaise with people and groups at all levels, whether internal and external to the school
- To undertake approved Mandatory Notification training and attain and maintain a valid Working with Children Check.

The number of weeks worked per year will be 45 -48 weeks per year and may be negotiated.
