AddressOur Government client is seeking an experienced Business Finance Manager at the A08 level for an immediate start. This is a full-time, temporary Contract Position located in Brisbane CBD. - Deliver all operational financial, budgetary, and reporting requirements for Major Projects Delivery.
- Provide expert advice and support to senior leaders on a range of operational and strategic business issues.
- Conduct research, critically analyse business opportunities, and develop financial and resourcing strategies.
- Assist in managing the provision of comprehensive financial reports for clients, project boards, and stakeholders.
- Facilitate and lead strategic and organisational change initiatives.
- Proactively contribute to business system improvement and development activities.
- Oversee the management of the integrity of Major Project Delivery’s financial accounting records and systems.
- Ability to lead, manage, and inspire day-to-day financial and business management functions.
- Demonstrated personal responsibility in meeting objectives and resolving complex issues.
- Experience delivering high-quality project management, financial, procurement, and governance tools and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Power Apps.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and partnerships.
- Ability to provide advice, guidance, and training to the team.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, or a related field are highly regarded.
