About the Simplify the Business Strategic Initiative

We’re looking for a dedicated Business Improvement Lead (AS7) who will bring a fresh approach to our transformation team.

 

 

 

About the role
 

 

As a key player in our Simplify the Business team, you will be at the forefront of transforming Queensland Rail into a more efficient organisation, driving improvements across various business areas to generate increased productivity, cost savings, and overall performance.

 

 

 

REMUNERATION:  This is a fixed term (24 month), fulltime position, based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $139,943 plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.

What we’re looking for:

 

 

  • Proven experience in leading and managing Business Improvement initiatives within a large, complex organisation.
  • Qualifications in Lean 6 Sigma, process improvement, and process mapping is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • A passion for innovation and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
