About the roleThe Business Intelligence Data Engineer supports Victoria University’s ongoing transformation into a strategy-led, data-driven organisation. The role will be responsible for data warehousing, Data Engineering, data extraction, data processing and automation, data security and access. The role will be required to support the creation of data assets that enable analysis and reporting that inform internal and external stakeholders across the University. The role will also work collaboratively with the Senior Business Intelligence Data Engineers and stakeholders within the University to delivering Data Engineering solutions that enable strategic objectives.

Organize and present data to effectively communicate findings

Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of data governance solutions
- 📶 Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze data to discover and communicate insights, and offer concrete recommendations for key stakeholders to make critical decisions

Identifies and applies strategies to enhance reception, retention and use of newly acquired information, skills, and abilities

Works with numerical information and performs mathematical calculations to solve problems
