We find ways to make people's lives better.About the role- Permanent Full-TimeThe Information Systems (IS) team is a key enabler to support the delivery of Baptist Care SA's mission, providing Digital and Data services within a cloud-only IT environment. We are a progressive transformative highly collaborative team that has thrown off legacy systems of the past to progress our important mission.We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Developer with a thirst for learning who excels in designing Microsoft BI solutions, enabling data visualisation and providing key insights. You will play a crucial role in developing end to end solutions, driving innovation , collaborating closely with stakeholders at every level of the business to promote a healthy data-driven culture and effective data management & governance processes.Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Investigates the need for Business Intelligence reporting and analysis in situations involving complexity and ambiguity, using the Microsoft azure data stack, including Fabric, Power BI, Data Factory, Synapse and Datalake.
  • Application of visualisation techniques, content design and appearance of data visuals while contributing to exploration and experimentation in data visualisation
  • Manages the investigation of enterprise data requirements based upon a detailed understanding of business needs and requirements
  • Design, implement and maintain complex data engineering solutions to acquire and prepare data, including creating and maintaining data pipelines to connect data within and between data stores and/or applications

  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Data Science or equivalent
  • Extensive experience developing BI and data integration solutions within the Microsoft data stack, including PowerBI, Azure Data Late, Logic Apps
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Management and Governance frameworks (such as DMBok)
  • Highly developed data visualization and user-experience skills
  • Exceptional verbal and presentation skills tailored for senior management audiences

  • Full unrestricted South Australia Driver's Licence
  • Working With Children check
  • National Police Clearance
