This is a great opportunity for an experienced, energetic, and passionate Business Intelligence Developer who will be responsible for development and support of the Couriers Pleases IT systems, with particular focus on designing, creating and developing automated business reports and Business Intelligence solutions.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at Rosehill, NSW on a full-time basis. The role will be a mix of supporting key BAU operations and development of business reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and demonstrated experience in the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions and good stakeholder management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide and manage support for BAU operations
• Liaising with business stakeholders to understand requirements on sourcing data, create ETL processes, developing reports and presenting insights to the business
• Design and develop reports, Business Intelligence applications and data warehouse solutions
• Proactive monitoring of all SQL databases and related services
• Follow Couriers Please change management processes.
• You are responsible for your own health and safety as well as the health and safety of those around you. This means acting in a way that always puts your own safety and the safety of others first.

What you will need to be successful in this role

• Experience in developing presentation and visualisations in Microsoft PowerBI
• Minimum 3 plus years hands-on experience on Azure Services - Storage, Event Hub, Function App, Data Factory (SSIS IR) and Azure SQL.
• Experience in providing L2/L3 support of current ETL processes.
• Knowledge of Power BI or any other similar Visualization tool is desirable.
• Knowledge of Data Modelling and Data Warehouse design.
• Experience with writing SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Indexes and Table Partitions.
• Strong Microsoft .NET and C# skills.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes, JSON objects, Web APIs.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Transact SQL or similar.
• Experience designing reusable frameworks for data loading and error handling.
• Azure Data Factory experience is highly desirable
• The ability to think creatively and problem solve is critical
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management, is critical.
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with demanding stakeholders
