ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking an enthusiastic leadership professional, with a technical background, to manage our hydrocarbons processing facility in North Laverton.
Job Vacancy is due to an internal promotion!
You will have a sense of urgency, be a natural people leader, with a customer focus and the ability to see the bigger picture, set objectives, and deliver results. Lead the team and champion the day-to-day business functions.
On a day-to-day basis, the work will include things like:
- Manage all functions across the site of 35+ employees - including processing and transport operations
- Plan for and react to change
- Engage. lead and develop the team, and see it through
- Deliver the overall branch strategy
- Drive ongoing improvement initiatives
- Ensure a high-level safety and customer service culture
- Support and motivate the sales team to achieve growth targets
- Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements.
We’re looking for more than just experience (although that’s a great start!).
- Liquid Waste / Chemical Management or Dangerous Goods experience (ideally)
- Experience in Transport / Logistics / Mobile Service industry where you managed your own fleet and team of diverse team members
- Be an approachable and supportive leader, people-management experience
- KPI and customer focused with the ability to perform under pressure
- Engineering degree or technical background - highly regarded
- The ability to prioritise, think laterally and make things happen
- Continuous improvement focused
- Well-developed people and time management skills
