But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300!

We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic leadership professional, with a technical background, to manage our hydrocarbons processing facility in North Laverton. 

You will have a sense of urgency, be a natural people leader, with a customer focus and the ability to see the bigger picture, set objectives, and deliver results. 

Lead the team and champion the day-to-day business functions!

On a day-to-day basis, the work will include things like:

  • Manage all functions across the site of 35+ employees - including processing and transport operations
  • Plan for and react to change;
  • Engage. lead and develop the team, and see it through.
  • Deliver the overall branch strategy 
  • Drive ongoing improvement initiatives
  • Ensure a high-level safety and customer service culture 
  • Support and motivate the sales team to achieve growth targets  
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Able to successfully satisfy a pre-employment medical
  • Demonstrate the ability to be a quick learner in a fast pace and varied role
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty and commitment 
  • Ability to learn new internal programs and technology 
  • Be proactive and strive to upskill 
  • A commitment to achieving customer service of the highest standard
