Business Banking Services (BBS) supports the Transaction Banking needs of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s Business Banking customers across all industries and geographies.
Your Team
The Business Banking Services Transaction Switching Team plays a critical role in ensuring the financial wellbeing of business lending customers and communities.
Our team of Transaction Banking Switching Associates work closely with Relationship Executives, Account Managers and Transaction Banking Specialists to meet the transaction banking product establishment needs of Business Banking Customers. The Transaction Banking support offered by the Switching team includes:
Customer engagement and fulfilment support for new to bank customer needs including:
Transaction Banking Product Origination
CommBiz/Netbank Establishment
CommBiz Training
Your Impact & Contribution
Reporting to the Team Manager Transaction Banking Services the role supports the Transaction banking needs of CBA’s business customers.
Our team are based in Sydney but we do support workplace flexibility with options to work from home after you have completed training and 6 months probation.
Your responsibilities
Working closely with Relationship Executives, Account Managers and Transaction Banking Specialists to support customers transaction banking switching needs
Single point of contact for new to Bank transaction banking customers, supporting onboarding, transition from other financial institutions and CommBiz training
Providing high-quality, timely customer service
Developing and maintaining professional relationships in support of team goals and objectives
Ensuring defined processes are followed and opportunities to improve the customer experience and groups risk position are raised with senior management
Supporting your Manager and Executive Manager with special projects as required
Other duties as required by the Team Manager – escalations, complaint handling etc.
Proactive in assisting team members achieve desired service and sales outcomes
Your Experience/ Skills Required
Previous customer service experience and exceptional customer service skills is essential
A passion for innovation and solutions focused thinking
Excellent knowledge of business banking products and services and related products
Attention to detail and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a load sharing environment
Good organisational and time management skills

Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded)
