Primary purpose of position
To be an integral member of City Clean team to support the manager and unit leaders to improve efficiencies through optimising processes, improving systems and reporting as well as planning capabilities. Support the embedding of a continuous improvement mindset within the team through the implementation of various BI initiatives.
Accountabilities
* Partner with the Waste and Cleansing Leadership team to understand the business and put forward recommendations to implement process efficiencies through technology
* Review existing processes and provide recommendations to the leadership team to optimise these with an eye to optimising processes for service delivery
* Partner and collaborate with other team members within the unit to assist them in process review, improvement and implementation of technology to implement efficiencies within processes
* Develop, recommend and implement the process for an operations manual to ensure guiding standards and principles are consistent across the relevant function/team
* Identify, prepare and implement KPI's for the accurate and relevant measurement of the units performance
* Partner with administration team to ensure systems are in place to maintain accurate records are developed and maintained as required
* Prepare written reports and statistical data on activities
* Communicate and liaise effectively with stakeholders such as the Waste and Cleansing team, Information Communication Technology and City Improvement team
* Analyse and evaluate service improvement requests and ideas
* Monitor and evaluate performance towards goals and objectives in line with reporting requirements and ensure timelines are met
* Prepare presentation briefings, correspondence and prepare Council reports to Senior Management as required
* Contribute to the development of Council's Delivery Program and Operational Plan
* Assist in the development of dashboards using Power BI and other relevant systems
* Provide timely and accurate reporting on progress and achievements to the leadership team
* Assist in developing Promapp end to end processes including working with leaders and Team members to maintain existing Promapps
* Develop, recommend and implement processes for performance monitoring
* Assist in building the capability and influencing a culture of digitisation and continuous improvement by engaging all stakeholders within the Waste and Cleansing Unit
* Undertake other tasks and duties as required, relevant to the role
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary Qualifications in Business management /improvement or similar. Strong skills in IT, Power BI and like programs.
* Exp in Excel and statistical analysis.
