About the Role:
We seek a Business Process Analyst who will be pivotal in migrating from on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud. This is not a technical role; instead, we seek an expert in Business Process mapping and requirements elicitation who understands how technology pieces fit together in a migration context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Process Mapping: Analyze, design, and document Business Processes to support the migration project, including how processes will evolve from on-prem to cloud environments. Map "AS IS" and "TO BE" processes.
- Requirements Elicitation: Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and other methods.
- Process Workshops: Lead and facilitate workshops to map out current and future state processes, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Integration with ServiceNow: Define and document the processes for integrating AWS and Databricks with ServiceNow, ensuring smooth operations and process efficiency.
- Change Management: Assist in defining the changes in Business Processes such as patching, user onboarding to the enterprise data platform, and other key areas impacted by the migration.
- Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst on migration projects from on-premises to cloud (AWS).
- Strong understanding of AWS and Databricks, particularly in how these technologies impact Business Processes.
- Experience in process mapping, business requirements elicitation, and leading process workshops.
- Ability to understand and document how Business Processes change in a cloud environment, including specific use cases like patching and user onboarding.
- Familiarity with integrating cloud platforms with ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with other cloud platforms or data integration tools.
- Knowledge of enterprise data platforms and how they are utilized within large organizations.
- Background in change management and process improvement methodologies.
- A competitive daily rate of $1000 + GST.
- Flexible location within Australia, with a preference for Sydney or Melbourne.
