About the role – 6 month Day Rate Contract
The Business Process Analyst will join our Technology Department, working on exciting and innovative initiatives that will drive success towards achieving the strategic goals of EnergyAustralia. Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with Technical/Business Subject Matter Experts to deliver solutions for work focusing regulatory & compliance programs
- Plan and facilitate workshops and interviews throughout the discovery process
- Analyse and model current and future states and perform gap analysis
- Document Business Processes that is easily understandable by stakeholders
- Write, execute and manage user stories and acceptance criteria capturing functional and non-functional requirements
- Support test planning/scenarios/validation and UAT/PVT
- Identification, documentation, resolution and escalation of delivery issues, dependencies, risks and decisions
About You:
You will be a creative and analytical individual with excellent communication prowess who can engage with and positively influence a variety of key stakeholders. This role will require:
- Minimum 5 years Business Analyst experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certifications (CBAP, IIBA)
- Utility Industry experience
- Able to use data analytics tools and techniques to uncover insights, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Hands on experience using Jira/Confluence for documenting and tracking requirements
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and present them in simple terms to non-technical team members and stakeholders
- Possess Lean or Six Sigma certification as either a Green Belt or Black Belt, demonstrating expertise in process improvement methodologies and tools (desirable)
- Regulatory & Compliance project experience desirable
