SalaryAn Australian organisation are looking to expand their projects team with a Project Manager in a rapidly growing business based in the Sydney CBD. The organisation are currently in growth mode due to recent successful client acquisition and revenue growth and as a result are looking to expand the business.
This role will lead projects and programs of work end to end in a hands on position where you will be tasked with developing an operational plan, driving process improvement, and ensuring projects are executed on time and on budget.
To be successful in this position you will have experience in hands on Project Management across financial services or the private sector based in Australia. This role is a business focused role where you will be expected to present and liaise with senior stakeholders and the leadership team of the business as well as run project teams.
This role is a hybrid office and wfh role with offices based in the Sydney CBD.
To be successful you will have:
- Experience as a business facing Project Manager leading successful projects for private sector business
- Experience in developing project management plans including identifying work required, resourcing required scheduling of activities and budget planning
- Demonstratable experience in running projects, successfully engaging with Stakeholders, managing risks within risk appetite and ensuring successful outcomes and delivery of value to the business
- Ability to demonstrate a strategic mindset whilst being able to think critically and develop a forward looking vision for business transformation
- Ability to understand how individual projects contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the organisation
- Demonstratable experience in business transformation from initiation to completion. Including expertise in project planning, resource allocation, risk management.
- Ability to foster relationships and influence at senior leadership level and build strong stakeholder relationships across the business
