Closing Date: 11:30pm, Thursday 11 July 2024About the OpportunityThe primary purpose of the Strategy and Support Team, Business Reporting and Coordination Officer position is to support the management of executive functions for the Executive Office in Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation through oversight and day to day management of briefing and reporting coordination functions. This role will further be required to provide confidential administrative support to the Executive Office Director and Executive Director, manage other workflow, schedules, meetings, and events, and to support the public interface with AAR operations, through general inquiries via post, email and the general inquiry line.The position works alongside other Strategy and Support staff to develop effective networks between the Minister’s Office, the Office of the Chief Executive and the Attorney General’s Department in relation to a range of matters requiring the attention of the Director and Executive Director. Duties including business improvement initiatives, small projects and research, will be undertaken as delegated by the Director and Executive Director.The role provides comprehensive oversight and delivery of efficient, effective and timely delivery of business outcomes and work-flows by establishing, maintaining and coordinating the range of day to day Business Reporting, administrative systems, support to the Executive Office, and broader business operations where required.About the BusinessAboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation supports the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs in providing high quality and timely advice with regards to policy and legislation, with the aim of engaging, empowering, and assisting Aboriginal people and communities to address systemic issues.For more information about the Attorney-General’s Department and also Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation, please visit https://www.agd.sa.gov.au/ and https://www.agd.sa.gov.au/aboriginal-affairs-and-reconciliationSpecial Conditions for EmploymentEmployment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
