The South Australian Government provides industry assistance in the form of grants and loans to businesses within the State. SAFA, Commercial Advisory manages a portfolio of grants and loans as well as other relevant advice to Government agencies.
This role presents an opportunity for the successful candidate to join an award winning team, with the SAFA, Commercial Advisory team being awarded the Department of Treasury and Finance’s ‘Make it Count’ Recognition Award for 2021.
Job Description: The Senior Reporting Business Analyst is accountable to the Manager, Commercial Advisory. The Senior Reporting Business Analyst is responsible for providing day to day support for the Commercial Advisory team in the ongoing maintenance of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including the quality and integrity of its data. The Senior Reporting Business Analyst is also responsible for production of reporting and business analytics for the Commercial Advisory team.
The Senior Reporting Business Analyst may also from time to time support the Manager, Commercial Advisory for the evaluation of the performance of businesses within the State that request or receive financial assistance from Government. The Senior Reporting Business Analyst may also monitor and evaluate the performance of companies under contract to Government and assess claims for milestone payments.
Essential Requirements: Degree in accounting, finance or comparative qualification in a related field.
Special conditions: Some out of hours work and intrastate and interstate travel may be required. The incumbent will be required to participate in the Departmental Performance Management Program. The incumbent may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the department. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a General Probity Screening Check.
Remuneration: ASO5 ($84,522 - $94,003 pa) or ASO6 ($97,002 - $102,626 pa) depending on the successful applicant's experience.
