I am looking for an experienced Business Services Officer to join an NT based government owned organisation for a short-term role.
Your new role
You will provide quality advice and support in the planning, development and delivery of strategic business improvement objectives, fleet and facilities contract management, protective security systems and procedures, emergency management systems and procedures, quality management systems and procedures and corporate insurance policies and systems.
Your accountabilities include:
Provide quality advice and support for the delivery of strategic and critical business systems, including the coordination and assistance in the production of business dashboards, corporate reports and ELT and Board reports.Manage and coordinate the delivery, administration, monitoring and financial management of all facilities and fleet contracts. Coordinate and provide quality advice and support in the monitoring and maintenance of corporate work practices and procedures and assist in the development of improvement strategies and programs.Provide specialist advice and support to relevant officers or external consultants to develop and implement policies and strategies to improve corporate and operational procedures and systems.Provide coordination and development support for the Corporate Incident Management Team systems and procedures.Provide quality advice and support for the management, renewal and delivery of all corporate insurance policies and programs.Provide quality advice and support for the management and delivery of all sites protective security procedures and systems.Work closely with the Business Services team and provide assistance and carry out all reasonable requests as required by the business. Carry out duties in accordance with the organisations safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values and strategies.What you'll need to succeed Ability to provide quality advice and support for the delivery of strategic and critical business systems, including the coordination and production of business dashboards, corporate reports and ELT and Board reports utilising appropriate software and contemporary presentation methods to effectively present gathered data.High level contract administration and management knowledge and skills.Proven ability to coordinate the development, implementation and review of corporate policies, procedures and standardsProven ability to assist with the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies.Solid innovation, research and procedural development skills.Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop/maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders of different skill sets, operational priorities and cultures.Well-developed project management skills, including the ability to solve challenges and meet changing work priorities and competing work demands supporting both corporate and trade/technical stakeholders.Proven high level skills in the effective use of information technology and relevant software packages such as Microsoft Office and similar.What you'll get in return A great opportunity for an experienced
