u&u have partnered with a fast-growing boutique accounting firm who are looking for an experienced Business Services Intermediate or Senior to join their team in a client-facing role.
About the Role
As part of the Business Services team, your responsibilities will include:
- Direct liaison with clients to gather necessary information for the preparation of Company & Trust annual reports as well as Company, Trust & Individual tax returns;
- Managing document organization by adding files to the firm's Google Drive-based document management system;
- Overseeing a team of one junior offshore staff member, who will be handling individual tax return tasks;
- Reviewing drafted individual tax returns and providing feedback to junior PHP staff;
- Mentoring and training junior staff members to ensure their professional growth;
- Verifying that all review changes made by juniors are accurately updated; and
- Sending completed work to clients along with invoices and e-signature requests for authorisation of lodgement.
About You:
- Strong spoken and written communication skills;
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Business Services taxation;
- Proficiency in Xero and Xero Tax software;
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing the work of others;
- Availability for a minimum of two days per week in the office; and
- Experience managing a small team.
