The Role
The Senior Finance Business Partner will provide financial insights, guidance and analysis to the Executive Leadership Team across multiple Corporate Services Functions to drive informed commercial decisions and optimise financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Support for business planning, early-stage investment cases, project evaluation, budgeting and forecasting.
- Manage the bottom-up annual budgeting process for the Corporate Services portfolio, working closely with business units to gather input, validate assumptions, and align financial objectives with strategic goals.
- Management of the forecast and month end process, including insight through analysing financial data, identifying trends, and presenting actionable insights to key stakeholders.
- Monitor BU financial performance against targets, conducts variance analysis, and provide recommendations to enhance performance and deliver value.
- Play a leadership role in ongoing Business Operations Reviews or business governance forums as a key vehicle for driving and optimising business performance.
- Provides enhanced analytical and insights support where required beyond BAU to deep dive on BU specific financial issues or choice points.
To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following skills/experience:
- CA/CPA/CFA qualification.
- Proven budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience.
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial information to drive commercial outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Advanced systems skills, experience leveraging data analytics/Power BI.
