About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting needs of all our entities. Your role will include the preparation of management reports, cash flow statements, and KPI reporting. You will also review all compliance work and ensure the financial health of our operations. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Managing the full spectrum of financial operations across all company entities, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Leading the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Preparing and reviewing IAS, BAS, FBT, end-of-year workpapers, and tax returns for all entities.
- Strengthening and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, providing high-quality financial advice and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification highly preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years' accounting experience in Australia, preferably in a similar in-house role.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across multiple teams.
