My client is a reputable mid-tier firm (ranking amongst the Top 15 in the AFR Top 100) with offices all across Australia. In this role you will be joining one of their best-performing teams in their Business Services division. You will be working alongside some of the industry's most respected Partners and Senior Managers to service a diverse portfolio of clients. The leadership team have an open door mentality and have fostered this attitude throughout the business, so you will receive plenty of support and also have direct access to various senior stakeholders.
You will have key responsibilities, including:
- Lead and provide mentoring to a team
- Provide comprehensive tax consulting and business advisory to clients across various entities including companies, family groups and high net-wealth individuals
- Develop an established client base
- Manage internal and external client communication
- Prepare, file and review of individual, partnership, company, trust, estate and SMSF income tax returns, BAS, IAS and FBT
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for all entity types
The ideal candidate:
- CA/CPA qualified.
- 5 + years experience in public practice accounting, specifically in Business Services/taxation.
- Experience reviewing, mentoring and training junior colleagues.
- High-level communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A genuine interest in progressing your career, and providing the highest level of service to the firms clientele.
- Possess the ability to use initiative and think outside of the box
