Ipswich Nurses is a growing independent community nursing and care provider located in the Ipswich region. Our service streams include disability service support (care and registered nursing), specialist palliative care and community aged care. We provide services to both adults and children. The role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team member who is comfortable working in a dynamic and busy environment to become our Business Support Officer (BSO). This is a newly created role in response to our growing business. The BSO needs to be adaptable and will support the Ipswich Nurses Directors through:
- Managing meeting requests and diaries
- Secretariat to Governance Committees
- Developing documentation
- Undertaking special projects
The BSO also supports the care services through:
- Supporting recruitment for clinical team
- Supporting intake, rostering and recruitment for the care services team during busy periods
- Coordinating equipment, maintenance and supplies (non-clinical)
This role is required to participate in the on-call roster for rostering. The commitment is one night per week and one weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) in four and leave cover.
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administration role
- Experience working in the disability/aged care or health care sector
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- High degree of IT literacy
- Experience with recruitment administration and / or rostering is highly desirable
You will need to have a NDIS Workers Screening Card (or be willing to obtain one) and a Drivers’ License would be desirable.
