About the role: In this essential role, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of administrative tasks, supporting the Senior Manager IP&S and the Business Unit Leadership team to ensure efficient and effective business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety First:
- Apply WHS Roles and Responsibilities Procedure.
- Ensure personal and team safety and wellbeing.
Team Contribution:
- Implement directions from the Senior Manager IP&S.
- Complete allocated tasks.
- Collaborate to achieve team goals, contributing to decision making and problem solving.
- Drive customer outcomes within the team.
- Enable efficient operations of the IP&S Leadership Team.
Business Support:
- Manage email and diary for the Senior Manager IP&S and leadership team.
- Monitor workflow, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Screen calls and emails to minimise interruptions.
- Coordinate and submit SLT, Board, and Committee papers.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, managing correspondence and enquiries.
Support Services to Business Unit Management:
- Coordinate and take minutes for IP&S Leadership management meetings.
- Manage actions from management meetings.
- Produce reports, correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Identify and implement improvements in administrative processes.
About You:
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with initiative, autonomy, and judgement.
