The main function of this role is to create new or review and update current Shire processes within the Business Systems and identify improvements and to support the governance within the Shire. Key responsibilities include:
- Document accurate business process maps according to required standards and legislative standards.
- Implementation of systems, including but not limited to requirements gathering, configuration and training on those systems to ensure smooth execution.
Ensure the direction of Business Systems and processes are contributing to the achievement of actions and objectives in the Corporate Business Plan or other informing strategies for the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Experience in using process mapping software to document processes.
- Advanced computer operation skills with demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to use initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
In addition, previous experience in TechnologyOne or similar system in a local government environment, will be advantageous.
