About the role
We are currently seeking a experienced Business Systems Support and Analyst ( 12 Months Maternity Cover) to join Select Plant Australia in Sydney. As a Business Systems Support and Analyst you are responsible to drive strategic alignment and optimal functionality of Business Systems within Select Plant Australia. Lead projects, recommend enhancements, and ensure seamless integration with business strategy. Oversee change management, engage with vendors, and support teams in system utilisation. Coordinate major system enhancements, manage testing, and report progress to Select management.
Key responsibilities
- Recommend systems enhancements aligning with business strategy for Select leadership.
- Lead projects for Business Systems in Select Plant Australia, ensuring compliance with policies and quality benchmarks.
- Develop change management strategies for system changes in line with Select’s process.
- Engage with vendors to resolve system issues and identify enhancements.
- Oversee administration and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning system.
- Support Select Plant Australia teams in system use, including issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Engage with stakeholders and IT for issue resolution and provide training for users.
- Test and deploy minor enhancements for existing business applications.
- Coordinate major systems enhancements with Laing O’Rourke IT and internal stakeholders, including impact assessment, process change recommendations, user acceptance testing, and project progress reporting.
About you
- Proven experience in providing strategic recommendations for Business Systems aligned with organisational goals.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and initiatives related to Business Systems.
- Experience in change management strategies and adherence to established processes.
- Engaged with vendors for issue resolution and identification of system enhancements.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for system-related issues.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis of system problems.
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and IT teams.
