Job description

The Business Transformation Manager will provide key support in planning and executing a broad range of Business Transformation initiatives across EQT's Corporate and Superannuation Trustee Services (CSTS) business. Following the recent bringing together of the Corporate and Superannuation businesses, the position will have an instrumental role in driving the execution of initiatives with the aim of building scalable, efficient and sustainable operations to support the strong growth outlook for the business. The Manager will be pro-active, demonstrate strong accountability and organisational skills and have a strong execution focus.
The Manager will report directly to the GM Business Transformation and will work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the business and broader EQT Group.
About the role:

  • Assist the identification and understanding of a range of business issues, inefficient and ineffective processes to enhance the customer and employee experience.
  • Assist with the management of projects, including meetings co-ordination, action item management and timelines.
  • Preparation of a wide range of documentation requirements, including project plans, project artefacts, policy and process updates, business plans, process maps, communications and Board/Committee/Staff update papers.
  • Apply problem solving skills to a variety of challenges.
  • Pro-actively and autonomously progress workstreams and activities to drive successful project and initiative completion.
  • Prepare simple financial models to support project approvals and cost management.
  • Ability to consider and effectively apply digital and data capabilities to automate and improve business processes.
  • Ability to prioritise a wide variety of activities to ensure timelines and other targets are met.
  • Through an innovative mindset bring new ideas that improves ways of working.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • At least 5 years' experience in developing and implementing process improvements or involvement in change management programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex business environments (with experience in highly regulated businesses strongly regarded), with experience in managed fund and/or superannuation industries highly regarded.
  • Demonstrates strong capabilities in being pro-active, applying initiative, and being highly accountable and responsible and who can comfortably work with some autonomy.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work cooperatively with others to achieve goals.
  • Strong oral and excellent written communication skills, including experience in reporting to Boards and committees.
  • Ability to communicate with a range of internal stakeholders, as well as external parties (e.g. advisers, consultants).
  • Business case preparation and project management skills.
  • Financial modelling excel skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand technical and complex business activities and synthesise the information efficiently.
  • Experience in implementing change management programs well regarded.
