About Us The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is South Australia’s independent environment protection regulator. The organisation works to protect, restore and improve the environment through the risk-based regulation of pollution, waste, noise and radiation. The EPA works closely with industry, the community and government to protect the unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. The EPA is responsible for the administration of the Environment Protection Act 1993 (EP Act) and the Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021 (RPC Act) and also exercises responsibilities under other South Australian planning and environmental legislation.
About the Business Unit Coordinator (ASO4)The Business Unit Coordinator provides a high-level confidential secretarial support to the Director Policy, Assessment and Finance and the Director Science and Systems and supports the Business Units’ administrative functions. This includes delivering timely, efficient, effective and confidential office administration and information coordination by providing liaison with directorate managers and staff and across the broader agency.
About the Executive Officer (ASO3) Provides high level confidential executive support and meeting coordination services to the EPA Board and its Committees and supports the Chief Executive in working with the Board. Provides Executive Officer support to the EPA Executive Leadership Team, and the Risk Management and Performance subcommittee of the Board.

Desirable Qualifications- Knowledge of office and records management systems.
- Experience using records management systems.
- Experience using Basware and EMS.
Remuneration
ASO4 ($75,430 - $79,070 per annum) + 11% super to your choice of superfund. ASO3 ($66,590 - $70,968 per annum) + 11% super to your choice of superfund.
Contracts Available
Both contracts are ongoing and full time (37.5 hours per week).
Special Conditions - Must be eligible to work in Australia. - The incumbents will occasionally be required to travel to sites in country areas and interstate.
- The incumbents may be required to work out of hours and as the need arises.
- A current driver’s licence is essential. - Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
