About the role
Our client's customers are in mining, construction and manufacturing and they are looking for an experienced Security & CommunicationsBusiness Unit Manager to complement their team.
This is a client-centric, growth-oriented position, charged with the expansion of the Business Unit from an initial focus on SEQLD, to a national scale. This role involves establishing and cultivating a team from inception, robust account management for existing clients, and spearheading statewide business development, with an eye toward future expansion.
Integral to the role is the management of profit and loss and responsibilities encompass devising pricing strategies, fostering technical expertise within the team, overseeing management and scheduling, and overall leadership of the Business Unit.

Skills & Experience
You will bring a wealth of experience in both security and communications, showcasing a strong aptitude for critical thinking and technical proficiency. You will have a heavy industry background within mining, oil & gas, resources or similar. This role requires a proactive and can-do attitude, coupled with exemplary leadership and management skills to effectively lead and develop a team of technicians. You will possess a strong sense of commercial acumen and are comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Gallagher equipment is highly valued, and if you have project management and business development skills that would be a bonus.
