Butcher/knifehand

Due to our continued growth, we currently seeking an experienced Butcher/knifehand, 3rd-4th year butcher apprentice or chef with meat cutting experience to join our team at Mastercut Meats on a fulltime basis. Key duties of the role include:

• General Butchering duties 
• Preparation of portioned meat products for the hospitality industry
• Operation of relevant machinery – bandsaws, mincer, etc

Skills & Experience Required

• Experienced/3rd-4th -Butcher/knifehand or qualified chef with meat cutting experience
• Ability to control yields and portion cutting experience is advantageous
• A positive, can-do attitude is key plus a strong work etc
• Mon to Fri - NO weekend work or split shifts!
• Attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Enjoys working in a friendly team environment
