Due to our continued growth, we currently seeking an experienced Butcher/knifehand, 3rd-4th year butcher apprentice or chef with meat cutting experience to join our team at Mastercut Meats on a fulltime basis. Key duties of the role include:
- General Butchering duties
- Preparation of portioned meat products for the hospitality industry
- Operation of relevant machinery – bandsaws, mincer, etc
Skills & Experience Required
- Experienced/3rd-4th -Butcher/knifehand or qualified chef with meat cutting experience
- Ability to control yields and portion cutting experience is advantageous
- A positive, can-do attitude is key plus a strong work etc
- Mon to Fri - NO weekend work or split shifts!
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Enjoys working in a friendly team environment
