Butchers Full time/casual

The Food Forum in Belconnen is a locally owned, busy fresh produce store / butcher located in the Westfield shopping centre.

We are currrently seeking qualified butchers for full-time and part-time positions.

Duties include:

• cutting and preparing meat for retail sale
• cutting and preparing meat for wholesale orders
• boning of beef, lamb and pork
• packaging and displaying meat for retail
• packing wholesale orders
• supervising juniors and apprentices

Successful applicants must meet the following requirements:

• be able to work in a team environment
• Work efficiently unsupervised
• keep calm under pressure
• have a strong focus on customer service
• maintain a high quality of work in retail and wholesale
• follow HACCP and OHS company procedures
• 4:30am start

Rate may be negotiated depending on skill set of the successful applicant
