We are currently looking for a C++ Engineer to join our client’s growing team in Sydney! Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- You will be trained on specific component of the trading system after which you will be given responsibility to maintain and implement changes.
- Provide input to sprint planning.
- Participate in peer code reviews.
- On-call and after-hour support.
- Participate in weekend tests.
Job Requirements
- S. Computer Science (preferred), B.S. Computer/Software Engineering, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge
- Candidate will have to demonstrate that they can write C++.
- Familiar with various algorithms.
- Willing to work under pressure and attention to detail.
- STEM background with an interest in financial markets, derivatives pricing, quantitative modeling, and risk analytics.
- Financial markets experience a plus (market data, reference data, risk).
- Familiar with Linux commands.
- Graduate to 2 years’ experience.
- DESIRABLE: Capital Markets Experience and Python.
