NW Mining & Civil are seeking an experienced Crane Operator with some handy all round skills to join our client’s team at a remote mine site north of Mt Isa.
Primarily you will be operating a Franna to carry out shutdown and maintenance work across the mine site, as well as operating a 55t Tadano from time to time, along with dogging, forklift & EWP operating and even jumping on a digger & loader if you have the tickets & experience.
To succeed in this role, you will be flexible & easy going to be able to carry out various work as required, have a great safety attitude and work well in a team.
Roster will be 2/1 or 3/1, shift are 12hrs and this work will be ongoing for the right person. Pay rate is $52/hr flat rate.
Flights are available from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville, meals & accomm are provided while on shift.
Before applying please ensure you meet the following criteria:
- Strong Franna experience
- C6 (or above) high risk licence
- DG, LF or EWP an advantage
- RIIs for LE or LL an advantage
- Manual drivers licence
- Ideally have a copy of a pre employment medical, including MMQ RHS, from within the last 12 months
- Be able to pass D&A testing
