RESPONSIBILITIES:
Construct and install cabinets, shelves, countertops, and other wooden fixtures according to specifications.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accurate assembly and installation.
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Select and procure appropriate materials for each project, considering quality and budget constraints.
Collaborate with designers and clients to understand project requirements and provide input on design feasibility.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction or installation process.
Keep abreast of industry trends and techniques to improve skills and knowledge continuously.
REQUIREMENTS:
Australian Citizens and Peranent Residents encouraged to apply.
Minimum AQF Certificate III in cabinetmaking.
Minimum 3 years' proven experience as a cabinetmaker or similar role.
Proficiency in woodworking techniques and craftsmanship.
Familiarity with woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Practical communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
