Garlo's Bakery Café is the local flagship store of ‘Garlo’s Pies'. Garlo's Pies suppliers to the major retailers around Australia, 300+ wholesale customers in NSW and to over 9 countries around the world.
As an innovative and fast-growing business located at Kingsgrove, we require an individual with a 'can do attitude' to in our Café serving Staff and Customers who come to our café to purchase hot pies, frozen pies, cakes, handmade rolls and other hot food. Our Café is open Monday to Friday 6am - 3pm and Saturdays 7am to 1pm. This role will be a permanent part-time position of 20 hours per week. The ability to flex up to 38 hours of work per week if shift cover is needed is highly desirable.
About you
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a café environment.
- Must be available to work Monday through Saturday.
- Experience in food preparation, cash handling, use of EFTPOS machine and POS.
- Barista experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene practices.
- Great customer service skills and a friendly, can do attitude.
We will provide full training within our environment; however, it is expected the successful candidate comes to us with some experience in the above mentioned areas.
This role is busy and fast paced and will suit an individual that enjoys a busy day interacting with people, producing quality food for all to enjoy.
