The Administrative Assistant (Secondary) role assists with the logistical operations required in the provision of daily education services to students and staff of the College. This role involves working closely with members of the Secondary Leadership team, namely the Director of Curriculum and the Director of Pastoral Care, to ensure the smooth and effective running of the College’s Secondary school.
This role is a part-time role, working three days per week. The role is also being offered as an initial twelve-month temporary contract, with a view to further extension. The successful candidate will be expected to commence in the role as soon as practicably possible.

Essential Selection Criteria
To be considered for the role, the successful candidate must:
- Have a commitment to respecting and upholding the Maronite Catholic ethos of the College
- Display excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on data integrity
- Be a proactive problem solver with a positive “can-do” attitude
- Have strong communication and listening skills, with an ability to build rapport with staff, students and parents
- Have excellent organisation skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and priorities
- Have capacity to use appropriate discretion when dealing with matters that are confidential and sensitive in nature
- Have a willingness to learn new skills
- Be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office and Google suite of products
- Hold appropriate First Aid qualifications
- Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) for employment purposes
Although not essential, previous school administration experience, including an understanding of Student Management Systems, is preferred.
