About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a all-rounder Warehouse Assistant to join our team based in Ingleburn on a full-time permanent basis.
In this role, you will provide assistance to the Warehouse Team in all aspects of warehouse operations including inbound goods, outbound goods, storage and deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Picking, packing, labelling, recording and dispatching.
- Receipting, sorting, organising and storing inventory.
- Allocating and retrieving goods from the warehouse.
- Preparing orders and processing request and supply orders.
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Maintaining inventory controls and addressing matters relating to damaged or missing inventory.
- Acknowledging and resolving operational issues.
- Assisting in the stocktake process as required.
- Liaising with the wider team to achieve successful outcomes.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area at all times.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills/Experience
- Proven experience working as a Warehouse Operator/Assistant/Store Person.
- Good understanding of General Warehouse Practices and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience with the use of RF Scanners (desirable not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Current Driver’s License.
- Valid Forklift License.
