Providore on Hastings – located at the Paris end of Hastings Street. NETANYA Noosa absolute beachfront resort was established in 2016, and our unique offering services the resort guests and visitors to Hastings Street for amazing coffee, breakfast, lunch and all their provisions to enjoy.

Celebrating local produce Providore on Hastings has been the “go to” place for Hastings Street visitors and locals to experience the offerings of the Noosa region.  Providore celebrates amazing local roasted premium coffee & gourmet bites to be enjoyed inside or on the terrace, plus additional local products through our gourmet grocery offer are ready to purchase to enjoy.

About you:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate leader who has the confidence to deliver exceptional personalised service to our guests whilst allowing your leadership skills to shine. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to take this café to the next level and bring fresh ideas.

The Role:

Your duties will include.

• Ensure the smooth running of the café 
• Work alongside, train, develop, encourage, inspire and supervise all team members
• Promote sales through effective retail merchandising and selling procedures
• Suggest and implement menu changes seasonally to keep café fresh and inspire customers to keep coming back 
• Product ordering and ranging in line with source local ethos
• Maintain stock control, accurate monthly stocktakes, effective ordering/receiving and storage of goods
• Entry of all invoices into back-office software
• Hiring of staff
• Training, development and supervising staff
• Providing staff with feedback, coaching and performance evaluations
• Writing rosters and ongoing roster maintenance ensuring the café has 7-day coverage in line with forecasting and budget
• WH&S and Food Safety Compliance
• Carry out daily and weekly systems and procedures to ensure a high level of customer service, presentation, hygiene, and product quality 
• Ensuring that staff are creating a great vibe for the café

Skills & Experience:

• Great energy with positive engagement with customers and team members
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Confident communication skills and professional attitude
• 2 years’ experience inleading and managing a café or casual dining restaurant 
• Willing to learn and grow and learn with the team

Licence/Certification:

• RSA / RMLV - Certificate (preferred) 
• Food Safety Supervisor - (preferred) 
• Professional training can be provided 

Work Authorisation:

All applicants must have working rights in Australia and are subject to a Police Check (National Police Certificate)

Shift availability:

• Afternoon and Day shifts available
