Seeking an experienced Assistant Cafe Manager in a permanent Full-Time role to support our team at our Espresso Bar opened in partnership with local coffee roaster Bellissimo Coffee - at Brisbane Domestic Airport!
Your role as Assistant Cafe Manager is to provide friendly and efficient service to our customers by delivering a high-quality product and a memorable experience before they jet off on their trip. Responsible for the management of the store and team in the absence of the Store Manager, this is a hands-on role that will require you to work alongside all team members to achieve high service outcomes and build a positive team environment.
We are looking for a leader who will:

• Demonstrate at least 2 years solid experience in a cafe/restaurant setting
• Sound people management skills
• Genuine passion for coffee and the café industry
• Dedication to delivering exceptional service experiences to customers
• Sound food safety/compliance knowledge
• Be a strong communicator and team motivator with professional presentation standards
• Provide effective training to staff in the areas of customer service, product knowledge, inventory control, and merchandising
• Team focused and results driven with an entrepreneurial business approach
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong computer literacy including MS Office suite
• Champion maturity, initiative, and a sense of urgency

As we operate in a dynamic airport location our stores operate 7 days a week to meet our customers' needs. With this in mind, you would be expected to be reasonably flexible with your availability to work outside of normal business hours if required.
