Responsibilities:
- Assist the Café owner in overseeing daily operations, including staff supervision, assisting the barista or be the barista some days, inventory management, and customer service.
- Help maintain high standards of customer service, coffee and non coffee drinks, cleanliness and tidyness of the cafe at all times..
- Collaborate with the owner to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and profitability.
- Train and mentor café staff to ensure they deliver outstanding service and adhere to company policies.
- Manage rostering, stock ordering, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the cafe industry as well as good barista skills.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fun and bubbly personality with abily to stay calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as required.
- Enthusiasm for providing exceptional hospitality and creating positive experiences for customers and team members alike.
