About our Café:
We have an opportunity available for a Part-Time Café Assistant to join the Café team at Goodwin Retirement Village. Located in the leafy, historic suburb of Woollahra, in a friendly and warm retirement village is our New Goodwin Café.

Would you like to know more about the role?
*Customer orders, preparing food according to set specifications and customer requirements, delivering orders and processing payments and use of the espresso coffee machine.
*Provide friendly, warm, and enthusiastic customer service.
*Contribute to the effectiveness of the whole team by working together and assisting in the kitchen area.
*Assisting with the set up and clearing of the café for differing functions.
*Assisting the Chef with simple food preparation, as required.
*Contributing to a hygienic work environment by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, floors and work areas at front and back of Café and ensuring that safety (WHS), cleanliness standards set by Anglicare are maintained.
About you:
We welcome you to apply. Please tell us more about you and your valued experience in food handling/customer service, in a café or commercial kitchen and/or function centres. In your application please consider;
*Passion for providing a high standard of customer service, a love for making a difference in someone’s day and a genuine alignment to Anglicare's Christian values
*Current RSA certificate or willingness to obtain
*A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate would be highly regarded and or a willingness to complete company paid training to secure the certificate highly desirable
