In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in acute care, community care, aged care, and Palliative Care settings, providing high-quality nursing care to patients with a diverse range of healthcare needs.Key Accountabilities:
- Undertaking assessment and developing individualised care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and health status.
- Educating patients and their families on their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, other nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Providing care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working in acute care, aged care, or community care settings.
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and provide high-quality nursing care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and patient monitoring.
- Experience working with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
