What you will be doing:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilised and ready.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and enforce infection control protocols.
- Monitor patient’s conditions and provide high-quality perioperative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient work flow.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

What you will need?
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Scrub/Scout Nurse in a perioperative setting.
- Demonstrated experience assisting with either major ortho, neuro or cardiothoracic surgeries
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
