About the role
The Clinical Support Officer, Cancer Directorate is accountable to the Clinical Support Coordinator for the effective and efficient operation of outpatient clinics, including the provision of a high level reception service to clients attending outpatient clinics, and providing support to the clinical staff.
The Clinical Support Officer, Cancer Directorate may be asked to participate in a rotating roster to ensure adequate staffing is available in both ‘client facing’ and ‘back-of-house’ office roles during the operating hours, and also to ensure that adequate backfill is provided to other administrative positions in the Cancer Directorate during periods of leave (e.g. backfill for Inpatient Support Officers).
