Form of work We are seeking 10 dedicated Cane Cultivation Labourers.
The roles are available within company owned sugar cane farms in the Bundaberg Region (Bingera, Fairymead, Quanaba, Alloway as well as other farms in the Bundaberg Region.
The roles will commence in April 2024 and will be year-round work for a maximum of 48 months.
The Bundaberg Sugar Ltd Regional Farms Enterprise Agreement 2021 applies to the roles.
Hours of work will be 38 hours per week.
The base hourly rate of pay will be $24.32.
Duties will include;
Operating and basic servicing of agricultural equipment;
Operating and basic servicing of tractors, trucks and Vehicles;
Performing agricultural tasks such as land preparation, planting, irrigating, and drainage
On the job training will be provided on sugar cane farming, as well as the opportunity to obtain a chemical handling license. Successful candidates who hold a current drivers licence will undergo training in tractor operations.
